This is what high-end smartphones looked like in 2007:
Smartphones were an established consumer-electronics market with devices that people thought were pretty cool, but often frustrating and with serious shortcomings and design flaws.
Then this happened:

Actual Pollution vs. "Noise Pollution" →
I agree. Sun Chips should make sure that their bags are only “eco-friendly” if they don’t make more noise than before. Because we should all care about the crinkle an fucking bag makes over the long-term health of our planet. Who cares if my kids live in a pollution-ridden wasteland? My chip bag is to damn loud!

We owe it to our society to have even a cursory understanding of other cultures so that we do not miss out on the chance to gain a new friend from a different background. Sounds like Sarah Palin could use those classes, too.

This is just fabulous.
Slater demanded an apology from the passenger, the official said, but the passenger refused. The two argued before the passenger told Slater to “fuck off”, the official said. The official said that Slater then got on the plane’s PA system and directed that same obscenity at all the passengers and added that he especially meant it for the man who refused to apologize.
